Morning after having breakfast, depart for the famous Cu Chi Tunnels which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Apart from the religious meaning, the even more special captivating point of this Cathedral is its special neo-Romanesque style of architecture. Next, it is on to the Old Saigon Post Office. After visiting the Jade Emperor Pagoda, we continue our trip to the bustling Ben Thanh Market, which is firstly well-known as the place for real Vietnamese food. There are a number of vendors and food stalls in the market food section that offers guests many freshly delicious dishes. We drive to My Tho, best known for its extensive orchards and immense fruit gardens of Mekong Delta. Arrival in My Tho, we take boat cruise on the Mekong River to see the “Dragon-Unicorn-Tortoise-Phoenix” islets before heading to the Thoison islets for visiting local house making their traditional products from coconut, banana caramel and coconut caramel. Have lunch at a local restaurant on islet then swim sampan through Coconut canals. We then come back to pier for the next visit to Dong Tam Snake farm (if time permits), including a number of snake breeds for eating, for their skins and for producing antivenin. Most of the snakes raised here are pythons and cobras.
